Fitness, Attributes & Strength Training

Personalised Training Instruction

Personalised programmes are created by your PT specifically for you and your personal needs. Coaching and Training can be live on-site, live on-line using video conferencing & other tuition tools, or a hybrid of the two. Alternatively you can order a custom made Training Exercise Programme (TEP) on paper or in pdf format that you can follow at your leisure.  

 

Onsite training is commonly conducted at the Loft Gym, Keran Hallit, (Karantie 2, 02610 Espoo), for which you will need some form of gym membership. However, for special customer agreements, training can also be arranged at local outdoor and municipal centre gyms, or even your own gym subject to their time-rental requirements. Training styles such as water-based aerobics & cardio-resistance training  obviously require the use of a local swimming pool.

 

For best effect, a hybrid programme that combines both is recommended. The basic or, default scheme is the monthly meetup that includes one live on-site coaching session per month, complemented with the on-line training programme accessible via the mobile app, replete with pictures, videos and written instructions, plus timers to chivy you along at a suitable pace, just like a follow-along video, but better. You can also supplement this with on-line video coaching/consultation sessions in which we  review live or a pre-recorded video of yourself action. The online account also gives you access to various chat and discussion forums with both the coach and the broader SeTs community for 24/7 social support.

Whether you choose an online,  or a hybrid plan, The training programmes are accessible via the web and the mobile app so that you can  also practice in your own time.

Concept & Style-based Fitness Programmes

SeTs also designs and coaches training concept & style-based training programmes for developing Functional Fitness & Strength capabilities. Workouts are grouped by training style & attributes such as condition, location & equipment used, or on a functional concept such as Parkour (motility & mobility) and self-defence skills.

 

These are online preset programmes for a monthly subscription, but can also be coached live onsite with a personal training agreement for individuals and small groups. Currently available training groups can be found on our events and activities calendar, under the 'Upcoming Events' link. Several preset programmes are currently under development and/or review, and are still to be notified.

Featured Concept Programmes include self-defense augmented training programmes called  ''Kuntao' (Fighting Fit), and  Parkour based motility and mobility fitness training programmes. Other featured programmes draw on attributes and characteristics of Football, Squash (Racquetball sports) and more.

 

The training programmes are accessible via the web and the mobile app which provides workout instructions so that you can work at your own pace, or,  follow-along with the timed workout. ​All packages are supported with our help and feedback chat group, community social & support groups, periodic webinars and other benefits. Optional activities and services are also available to help enhance your training. 

User Groups, Webinars & Meetups

FACE User Group services are facilitated activities and user groups for Festivals, social learning Activities and meet-ups, Competitions and challenges, and other Events such as webinars, seminars & training workshops. We call them FACE groups. Some FACE services are already part of other training subscription features. If not, then they need to be subscribed for separately.

Additional Coaching & Training Services

Additional value-added coaching services include habit & life-style coaching, nutrition/Meal Management and premium/ prioritised support and feedback services. In cases where we are unable to provide the service ourselves yet, we may operate a referrals service to trusted third-party experts.
