CODES OF CONDUCT
'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you'
Codes of conduct are in essence really quite simple and should reflect the subtitle above. The Physics Law of 'Cause and Effect' also applies to human behaviour. 'You reap what you sow!

Lii-Kan Jitsu is a further education site and community, so we do expect higher standards of conduct in order to create and preserve a learned and pleasant commúnity for all our members. The forums are divided into two types, public discussion forums, and private study groups.
-
The Study Groups are generally private and the content and media shared there is for those groups and their members alone, This is so that all may feel free to share without reservations.
-
The Discussion Forums are for study group members to intermingle with public visitors (site members) and hence are not so tightly restricted for sharing elsewhere. These require you YOU to have more care about what you share there.

Remember, ALWAYS READ the specific group's rule of conduct before you post or share any content.

The Rule of the 7 Seas
And, remember, this is an education and training site for considered and considerate conversation, not Twitter for Twittering Twits!

At all times, as you navigate and sail around this site, observe the 'Rule of the 7C's':
- Courteous & Congenial
- Constructive
- Current (Relevant and Topical)
- Correct (evidence & justifications)
- Coherent
- Concise
- Consistent
The 7 C's provide a checklist for all your posts and comments to ensure they are adequately considered before hitting the hotsend button. If you do make a controversial statement, you must be prepared to discuss and defend it in an appropriate manner.

As always, keep it on topic, and leave comments on posts.
