Helsinki Education Film Festival >> is an annual festival which takes place in Helsinki, Finland in the autumn.

Videos and films are the latest, most commonly used, and most engaging medium of information in our time. HEFFI is specifically designed for this purpose  - to educate the new generation through films.

Video Teaser >>   The festival includes screenings, workshops, discussion, and cultural activities held in Helsinki, Espoo, Porvoo and in local educational institutions and business companies.  Last year the main event was at the Marski Hotel >>  in Helsinki. This year we are in Opinmäki, the International School.

This year for the first time, the event includes...

The HEFFI SHOW 25 November 2023, Saturday 17:00-19:00 Opinmaki Auditorium, Suurpelto, Espoo 

We are thrilled to launch this year 2023 the maiden episode of HEFFI show, a creative and vibrant forum designed to spark interest and inspire content creators, tech experts and entrepreneurs to cooperate using films & audio-visual media for the improvement of education.  The names of our world-class guests presenters will be published very soon.

Helsinki Education Film Festival International (also known as HEFFI) is a platform for filmmakers and educators established for the purpose of improving education  and  learning experience through films.    Our objective is to provide a channel for educators and filmmakers in Finland and around the world to show, share, exchange ideas and methods, including non-traditional ways that will open greater opportunities for collaboration for further development of education.  Our mission is to  educate the new generation through films and videos.
